We're a volunteer-run nonprofit organization bringing people together through emergency relief, education, and community projects — wherever help is needed.
Ongoing, upcoming, and completed — the full shape of the work, not just the highlight reel.
Emergency Relief
In late August 2026 heavy rain flooded large parts of Nepal, taking houses, roads and power lines, and in some places taking people. Global Sikhs sent teams to search for people who were missing and to reach the districts the floods had cut off.
“ਸੇਵਾ (selfless service) and ਸਰਬਤ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ (welfare of all) guide everything we do — compassion must translate into action.”
Our founding principle
Relief when the water rises, and the work that stays after it goes down.
01
When floods or other disasters strike, teams go in with food, water, medicines, tarpaulins and solar lights, and set up temporary shelter.
02
After the 2025 Punjab floods, relief became multi-phase rebuilding across several districts.
03
School fees are paid in full for children in rural Punjab, and each child is followed through grades and school reports.
04
Work that stays after the team leaves: community-run water plants, and supplies recorded name by name.
Who we are
Amarpreet Singh spent years volunteering in humanitarian work across India and South Asia before founding Global Sikhs. The organisation runs on two Sikh principles: seva, selfless service, and sarbat da bhala, the welfare of all.
Langar and aid go out regardless of faith, background or ability to give back. The work is done with public figures, foundations, local communities, NGOs and corporate partners, from village adoption programmes to large-scale fundraising.
