Refund Policy

1. No Cancellation of Donations

Once a donation has been successfully processed, it cannot ordinarily be cancelled or withdrawn.

Donors are requested to verify the donation amount, purpose, and payment details before confirming the transaction.

2. Refunds in Exceptional Cases

A refund may be considered in the following circumstances:

• Duplicate donations caused by a technical or payment processing error.
• An incorrect amount charged due to a payment gateway or technical error.
• An unauthorized transaction, subject to verification.

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 working days from the date of the transaction.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, donors should contact us at info@theglobalsikhs.org and provide the following information:

• Donor name and contact details.
• Transaction date and donation amount.
• Payment method.
• UTR, transaction, or reference ID.
• Reason for the refund request.
• Supporting proof, where applicable, such as a bank statement or payment screenshot.

If a refund is approved, it will normally be made to the same account or payment method from which the donation was received.

4. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will normally be processed within 10–15 working days.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the donor's account may vary depending on the donor's bank, card issuer, payment provider, or other financial institution.

5. Review and Decision

All refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Global Sikh Charity reserves the right to request additional information or documentation where necessary to verify a refund request.

The decision of Global Sikh Charity regarding a refund request shall be final, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
